hi there! i mjst stumbled upon a comment you left. sorry i did not respond sooner, i did not see it! thanks so much for your kind words and for popping by.
i definitely wash all my fabric before sewing it, otherwise it can pucker and distort and shrink funny when you wash your finished project. i have a friend who never washes her fabric, but i'm just not willing to take any chances. i line all my thinner fabrics with flannel. that way they are all the same weight, and are easier to stitch together. hope this helps, and happy sewing:)
We didn't plan it this way, it just happened. Our kids are named after two different types of cheese. I don't even like cheese that much. But they sure do. Think their names have anything to do with it? Who knows. Either way, I am, and probably always will be, Cheeziemommie. A crafty 28 year old, wife of 9 years to a high school math teacher/sports nut, mother to a 6yo fashionista, and 5 yo action packed dude!
