Beach Trip #3 - Morro Bay & Golfing in SLO

Sunday was Day #3 of our vacation and we chose to spend it (mostly) in Morro Bay - just about 15 minutes from the beach house. We started the morning a street fair (no pictures) and then made our way to the Natural History Museum. This place is tiny, but SO neat! It is FILLED with lots of hands on areas that tells all about the estuary, protecting the ocean, and how Morro Rock (or "Rocky" as he was named) came to be. We all had a great time here!

Then it was off to the Embarcadero where we had lunch, visited a few shops, and made a stop at the Aquarium to feed the sea lions and seals. :)
After all of that morning excitement, it was time to go back to the house for some naps! Vacation is exhausting you know :)

Daddy decided that when we woke up we were going to take the kids golfing. There is a lil 9 hole municipal golf course in San Luis Obispo that my husband fell in love with not too long ago. It's called Laguna Lake - which translates into LAKE Lake! It's a gorgeous course (we even saw a deer!), but it's smallish, and it is SO cheap! Unfortunately we got there too late to rent a cart (and I really wanted to drive one!) but we had the course pretty much to ourselves and everyone we passed were so tickled that we had brought the kiddies out to play. About halfway through, Colby decided that he didn't care too much for all that walking LOL so he hung out with my while Lacie & Daddy carried on.

Then it was back to the beach house for some relaxing (and more yummy Round Table!).
